The Department is concerned with making sure infrastructure is well andsupportive to community Itilima. By knowing that available of propersocial infrastructure is the booster of Community Development, then theDepartment is full engaged in constructions of Government Building Projects such as school classes, health dispensaries, bridge, and roads. In terms of road network the District has a total of 903km of roads out ofwhich 384.3km are earth roads, 508.7km are gravel roads and 10km areottasea.road network Itilimadc
Itilima District, the council has been allocating funds for road repairand rehabilitation both in urban and villages. Until now the Councilthrough Road Fund has managed to reconstruct various roads in order to besustainable throughout the year.
